Errr...so... anyone who has tried to email me, sorry, but I won't be able to reply until the 28th. 'Cause the internet, she is slow up here in the frozen north. Actually, It's not that cold. I think it was in the low 40o today, maybe. There is no snow in Othello, though the roads were slick from frost Wednesday night. Here is the drive on the way to my brother's place in Ellensberg, WA. Also, I draw dinosaur in MS paint, and a tame duck that lives outside my brother's apartment. He followed us around and went "quack, quack, quack!!"
The Snow Monkeys wish everyone a safe and happy winter season. Too bad they are greedy little poo flingers who will not share their candy canes with you.
The sky there had a lot of pinks, greens and blues, although the photos I took are misleading and not as vivid. We went to Cabo, but stayed near the more touristy areas. Photos that are missing, 'cause those cameras are with other people: Kayaking, snorkeling, four wheeling, and various beautiful scenes. It was a well needed rest for many.
Going on vacation Saturday morning. I'll be gone Dec. 10-14th, so I won't be able to check messages until I am back. My parents are already on vacation, I'm meeting them there. I doodled this while I was on the phone with them. They were telling me all the neat things they saw for 40 min. This may be 16 field animation paper, I can't remember. The ink lines are metallic gel pens. Computer screens remove the icky girl sparkles.
Today was a violently happy day. That is how insane it was. In a good way. It was so insane, it justifies TWO Kao-ani's!! (I've always wanted to use these, I did not make these.) One is a monkey and the other is a hamburger.
I get to go on a family vacation this Sat. too, so YAYZ!!!
Miss Mindy forwarded me a flyer for a coo craft fair this weekend. I'm going to be out of town so I'll miss it, but this looks like a great place to pick up holiday gifts. Miss Mindy and her sister, C.J. Metzger will be selling their crafty and sneaky artworks there too! This is a dumb drawing that's about a year old. The funny story is some kid randomly emailed me wanting a drawing of a Pound Puppy. That had to be the oddest yet cutest request ever (probably only, not involving Raven+BB action, ugh..), so this is what she got. I think I drew it on the scanner.
weird doodles of scary girl things. There is alot of other stuff on my plate right now, so no nice drawings for awhile. Here is a video of a building that will not die!
Yay! The Oban Star-Racers is almost out! It used to be called Molly Star Racer. I used to watch the music/pitch video thingy. If I wasn't an animator, I'd want to be a star racer. Here is the NEW trailer: Oban Star-Racers And a Weebl and Bob toon. PIE! Val and I used to sing variations of this song late at night during college, and we sounded just like this. I bet we made alot of people grumpy. :D
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is a magic vanilla sweater girl for Mary, since she does not understand the wonders or powers of chocolate. That is a vanilla meringue poof ball dog with Vanilla girl. I am busy with lots of stuff, good stuff, but I think my stomach has been trying to eat itself lately. Which is a really stupid thing for a stomach to do, and I know others agree with me. OOOHhhhhh!! Blog of note for today Norm Ryang!
I had a chocolate chip scone the other day. It was yummy! Oooh!!! On the Moon 4 is up. I love Insanity Prawn Boy and Toast King. I have to get up early to move my car. They are fixing pipes in the parking garage. I will go on an early morning adventure.
A weird old portfolio page. The goat reminds me of a 90's Mossimo shirt.
For anybody who knows a highschool student interested in fine art, dance, music, film, animation, theatre, or writing, Innerspark, formerly known as CSSSA is accepting submissions until Febuary. It's a month long summer art program, and it counts for college credit.
A bottle of milk I found at a ritzy Santa Monica grocery store. It's funny how Frankenstien is sad to be milking the cow. Frankenstien's hands must be cold. Poor cow, it looks like it's crying. The milk was good.
Skippy was trying to get something from under the couch. So I got the ruler out to reach whatever he was trying to get. This is what HE was stashing under the couch. Money, Mike Wachowski, a swiss army knife, post its, pencils, clips, a tiger, a cow, and other crap. Stupid. He started putting his booty back under the couch. Great.
I made paper flowers this weekend too. I was busy drawing things for money too.
Have a great puritan holiday full of wild fat birds and squash pie. Yum! Look! Darth Vader herds fainting goats! P.S. It's official. No more TT. One door closes another opens. Cryptic.
Aargh.....me grumpy. Need chocolate or yoga or something. Freelance kicking my butt.....must have GIGANTIC HEADS..... This one was not approved. The head was not big enough, and alot of his quirks will be removed. But his messed up left arm is okay. Also, his color will be "edgier". Ok, I stop being grumpy now, it is not good being a snot face. (Ahhh!! The new design was approved. Yay! I'm going to get some sunshine. Me no like being in apartment all weekend.) Hmmm....I'm not quite sure what this is, but I think FLCL was referencing this during "Brittle Bullet". It's a bunny girl meeting all these pop culture cartoon characters from Star Wars, Alien, Predator, Transformers, Batman, Superman, plus many more I probably don't recognize. The video is low quality, thought it was interesting though. Here's the info that was along with the clip.
"A short animation made by the founders of GAINAX way back in 1983. In the recent, popular J-Dorama "Densha Otoko" which's opening was a homage to Daicon IV, and helped spark interest to a new generation of anime fans." Gainax made "FLCL", "Evangelion", "RE: Cutie Honey", plus a bunch of other stuffs.
Look at all the stuff! Old mermaid. Kinda looks like the freelance I am doing now. The gallery in Hollywood where Mary's skullheads where. This scary hippie was hanging out by the paintings. I was scared to get close. His red eyes devour the souls of those who get to close! An old friend Tiffany had artwork up there too. I hadn't seen her in along time, she is doing well. I like their goofy faces. Photos from the "Three Trees Make a Forest" gallery at Nucleus. For people who couldn't be in LA for the opening. I'm sure they'll post pictures soon on the gallery's website. My family sent Skippy a box. He is happy. Skippy like espresso bean Choxie. He was helping me with my portfolio. Think he had a little too much Choxie. He is the party animal, wearing a lamp shade on his head. Skippy's naked! He's a sleeping. He has a heart.
Icky old Morrigan drawing. Looks too young. She has no feet because the paper ran out. Morrigan won't look like this. I found another bad cg animation. So bad. Bad eva dancing Dropped my portfolio off at some studios yesterday. More droppings tomorrow. Hee hee....droppings. I feel like a moose. "Here Nickelodeon, would you like some moose droppings?" Maybe I should go to bed. Printing, cutting, pasting, and no play makes Bri a dull girl.
Doodling for a commision. Hsien-ko from Darkstalkers videogame. What's with the green arm? I dunno, must have some pent up aggression or something. Here are some crazy metallic unicorn stickers I found in j-town this weekend. Is this supposed to be the illegitimate child of Unico? Happy Unicorn! Unicorn Dream! With their powers combined, everything turns stupid! Scary green girl.
Reminder: "Three Trees Make a Forest" art show at Nucleus is this Friday night, November 19-Dec. 6. Artists include Ronnie Del Carmen, Enrico Casarosa, and Tadahiro Uesugi. For anyone who can't make it, I heard they are making prints from some of the artists' work.

For those who live under rocks, here's a link to the freaky LIVE Gorillaz concert. Yay! Time for bed.
Cute robotic baby seal. Mental Commit Robot for Psychological Enrichment Scary, creepy, and cute, all at once. Check out the videos. Old people and Japanese business men love him. There is also a video of a live baby seal if anyone needs reference.
