Alternate Parappa opening here I heard this series wasn't very close to the game and didn't last long. Poo....

Good morning Sunshine......the Puppies say "Hello"!

Puppies are good. I miss my puppy. My parents say she is getting old, but still loves her frisbee. She has a frisbee addiction. We are not allowed to mention frisbees when she is present. Not even spell the word "frisbee". It causes a relapse, and she goes crazy! None of these drawings look like her. She's an Australian Shepard by the way.

Auction stuff

Pre-bidding for the Cartoon Network Fyn Stec benefit show starts Monday, 17th. Click on the banner to the right for more info and a gallery of work that will be auctioned. There's going to be a ton of crazy artsy stuff there. These evil kittens will be there, with their starring eyes.
Papillion Knight will be available too if anyone wants it.
A moment of zen. If you watch this video, you will suddenly want to paint your nails, eat ice cream, and dance in a field of flowers. Just a warning.

Papillon Knight

She's going to be for sale for a benefit art auction happenig in a couple of weeks. I'll post up more info next week, so it'll be easier for people to remember if they want to go. There are alot of artists/animators contributing work, for the meantime, go here to know what's going on and support a little boy and his family.

There is also a print of "Pirouette" available at Gallery Nucleus. I haven't seen what the print quality is like, but they usually do pretty good with their printing job. If anybody wants one, they are here.
One more thing I found. Scary Cinnamonroll commercial. This seems like it's stop motion of a stuffed animal.

Favoritest video game ever!

This was my most favorite video game in junior high. It's like a girlie Legend of Zelda, but the characters in it were just so cool. Plus, it was multi-player, so my little brother and I could play at the same time and figure out puzzles together. We named the characters after the Three Stooges. This trailer looks like it might be a remake, but I will probably get a DS now. I used to play videogames alot, but kinda stopped during college 'cause I didn't, and still don't, have the time.
Here's a really bad sketch I did real quick of the dragon that would fly you around the world in the old "Secret of Mana". His english name was pretty stupid, so I don't want to type it. His eyes are dumb looking here. I will try to draw a nicer drawing later.

Here are some links to more videos/commercials for the game, for those that are interested.

Yay! It's Friday!!! YAAAAY!!!

Been feeling a bit uninspired this week, so here's some old stuff that was in a cartoon that was on tv a few months ago, in a far away land.
I think this was an episode where Cyborg was going to make three meat chili for Titans East or something. I have the memory of a goldfish so I can't remember exactly which episode. I tried to make a background for them so I could put it in my portfolio.
These forest creatures where in "Mother May-Eye", chilling ontop of a gingerbread house. The bunny was inspired by a Scooter Tidwell storyboard sketch. The deer was inspired by this fetus looking faun in the "Herself the Elf" pilot from eons ago.

And since it's Friday, here are some relaxing photos of cats and balloons with soothing music for all to enjoy.
Relax and enjoy.

gallery stuff online YAYZZ!!!!1111!!

The Unicorn Show is online here for anyone who wanted to go and couldn't make it. There was alot of great art on the walls, and it was neat to see everyone's take on it. Also thanks to those who made it. It was raining and icky, plus the freeways were all backed up too. Anyone who bought my pieces, please email me so I can thank you! brianne@briannedrouhard.com .
Here is a color copy of the rough for the big piece, I cleaned it up a bit more than this and then transferred it to posterboard. It's probably not the best way to work, it came out kinda stiff. The blue unicorn is Unico, one of my favorite cartoons growing up.

Here is an evil ballet dancer. Just 'cause. I think her shoes must hurt or something.

stuff and ballerina girls

This is the big piece that is up at Nucleus right now. I think the original image is 12x12 inches.

Her hair is on fire, she doesn't seem to notice or care. I don't know why it's on fire. Oh well, maybe the water butterflies will put it out. No, I don't do drugs, but I probably should.

The Unicorn Show is this coming Saturday, March 18th, 7-11pm, in Alhambra, CA. There are going to be alot of cool artsy people in it. There will be cookies and face painting so show up early if you want any of that. I'm going to have a piece in the show, along with these three post-its. They're Rhubarb, her little brother Smudge, and their country cousin, Billie.
Here's the $#itty intro to my senior college film. It has an ooneykorn in it. Why is the music off? This is old. Does it even matter? Oh www.youtube.com......

Saban's Sailor Moon

Yay! A weird Sailor Moon drawing! Just what people want to see on a Friday morning!(sarcasm) 'Cause I found this, Saban's Sailor Moon pitch from the early 90's! I guess DIC and Saban were vying for distributing the show in the U.S, but Saban decided to make a pilot the english audience would find more acceptable. The animation is towards the middle of the video, but it's ghastly, so don't throw up! It's like "She-ra", meets "Blossom", and a slumber party!

Today was weird. I saw about thirty people today that I know, but normally don't see often, throughout the day. Burbank is apparantly the size of a quarter. I may go to the MOCA(finally, to see the comic exhibit) and Musha this weekend. Mmmmm.........Musha......Moosha....

cookies, cookies, cookies....

Need to go to sleep, I don't know what I'm doing to this or why.

Homemade cookies my mama sent me. They all have different personalities.

This is supposed to be Silkie made out of leftover gingerbread dough and sugary glaze. I made him last year.

A moment of zen I saw at the Burbank mall. BATMAN!!! Na, na na na na na na na... BATMAN!!!

Violent times day

This happened the other day. He sat there through the whole song. He must have a lost love somewhere.

Frickin' Adobe Illustrator, evil incarnate....lost this half way through and had to start over. This probably isn't finished, blahrg....

Super Bowl Party of Hell

I don't normally go to Super Bowl parties, but the one today was entertaining. Not the game itself, but THIS individual was quite interesting. He was very, very, loud.

Photo happy!

This is Lobby. She is a female blue crayfish. She is shy. Here she is in her boat of fun.

YAY!! More photos of horribleness!!

    Wonky tonky poop

One of my new co-workers brought his teenage daughter into work today. She told me about ALLLLLLLL the fan fiction stories she writes. Starfire was her favorite so I drew her a wonky off model Starfire with messed up hands, pencil neck, and foot. Sorry kid. The paper was from a neat sketchbook Valerie gave me for Xmas. Thanks Val, for the thousandth time. Also I saw a famous musician person eating Salt and Pepper Kettle Chips yesterday. The world is very small, is it not? I am sleepy, everyone go visit Wattana.
