Said on Twitter if she hit 30%, I'd make a drawing.
Really need to get a new scanner...

Hey! Vote for your favorite short on DC’s website!!! I really want to work on one of these shows with my friends!!! Or at least get a toy or a t shirt…

DC Nation, round 2, FIGHT!

This Saturday morning DC Nation starts airing new shows on Cartoon Network.  A nice surprise is the fifth SBFF short!

Lauren was nice and let me board it off of her script.  Plus it has Solomon Grundy!!!
Hawkgirl was just a doodle for fun... I don't think she'd be thrilled with Grundy trying to throw large cars at small children, or maybe some of the goofs these teenage girls do to poor Grundy.
Sorry Grundy!  ;_;

Colored and cleaned up an old unused pose.  I don't know when Amethyst airs...but it'll be real soon!

❤Omigosh❤

I survived San Diego Comic Con, and somehow survived the past year!  Saw a lot of friends from near and afar last weekend, many who helped make the Amethyst shorts.  Finally there is some animation online, pretty exciting.

Here's the trailer for the next round of DC Nation shorts, lots of cool stuff.  Amethyst is at the end!

I do not know when the new shorts air, but in the meantime, here's some heroines!

❤ One thing off my bucket list...lucky.

Sleeping is fun!

It's been a couple of weeks since the Emerald City Convention in Seattle.  Had some time to rest a little, and back to busy.  Been trying to wake up super early in the morning, and catching up on lists at work.  It feels like an unending game of Tetris, good thing I like Tetris.  Other than the Harley up above, and some convention doodles, there hasn't been much time for drawing frivolously.

A nice fellow and his wife gave me a blind bag MLP, and Pepperdance was inside!  She is one of my top prizes from my trip, and she's going to live on my new work desk tomorrow.  I LOVE her so much!  The couple who handed her to me came by my table quite a few times, and they were awesome and lifted my spirits.
I was drawing on stickers for those who purchased a sketchbook at ECCC, and drew a few sketch cards too!  Never drawn Pixie before, the girl who asked for her had a really well done Pixie cosplay.  She was hanging out with a Storm too, wish I would've grabbed their photos.

Amy Mebberson drew Eilonwy for me!
I also got to meet Jon McNally, Laurie B! and Miss Cartoonfuntime!

Some doodles living on my desk.

Some old Billie and Harpy art, when I was trying to decide delaying finishing Billie, in favor of having time to give Harpy a go. Was going to put it in "Tatertots", but forgot. Derp.

The rest is just endless nonsense. So much drawn. So much weird stuff. Considering throwing some voices on the sad old animatic and just throwing it on blogger. It's definitely amateur, but everything starts somewhere.

Not sure if anyone remembers my drawings of Alabaster, the knight.  Here is her Dad training her in battle, she's seen bloodshed before she could walk.  She lives in Harpy's world.

Anaheim this weekend!

I'll be at the Anaheim Comic Con this weekend, sharing a table with the illustrious Mr. Thomas Perkins. Do you like aliens? Do you like unicorns? If you come to our table, we will hook you up with both! It's like peanut butter and jelly!
We will NOT be there Friday, I will be stuck at work being a good person doing job stuffs, but will be there Saturday and Sunday! I will have the usual assortment of books, charms, and prints....and maybe a few sketch cards.
Our table is against the wall, near the bathrooms and food, #1900!! Bathrooms, food, and comics, they go so well together!

Hope everyone had a hoppy Easter. I don't know what is up with this drawing, I just wanted to draw a team of bunny girls that use random objects for weapons. They have absolutely nothing to do with Easter.

I had a marker workshop at Nucleus last weekend. It went really well, thank you to everyone who came out. I understand it was a busy holiday weekend for a lot of people, and I really appreciate everyone who traveled out to Alhambra to visit. I hope I didn't bore anyone, I take a long time inking and tend to ramble when I'm nervous.
There were a few high school students, a couple of girls from Calarts (they were within the last days of finishing their films for Open Show, WHY WEREN'T YOU TWO SLEEPING OMG?!?♥ I still get nightmares this time of year about finishing a film) a couple of families with their cute kids, one of my teachers from CSSSA, co-workers, people who were on a bus for hours.... I hope you ALL had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the rest of your Saturday!
Nucleus did take some charms and prints from me, I don't think they have posted them yet. I'll link to them when I know they are online, for the people who have been emailing me inquiring about them.

I also got to meet Chi the drummer for The Go! Team last Monday. Chi is awesome, she gave me some signed EP's, and we went to dinner with a few friends. We mostly talked about cute dogs and where to find comics in Los Angeles, next time she visits we'll take her shopping for books! The concert was great, it felt good to get out and jump around like a goofball. Thank you Chi!♥ ♥ ♥
I need to add the UK to the places to visit!

Upcoming Unicorn Undertakings

Survived my first Wondercon! Thank you all who came by, it was really great meeting everyone! The book did super well, we almost ran out! The book is also available online now, and hopefully it won't be on back order for awhile.
At the moment, I'm getting over a sore throat, or as one of my friend's calls it, "The Wrath of Con".
I didn't get to explore San Francisco very much, that will have to be for another time.

Batgirl and Supergirl were for a commission someone contacted me for weeks ago. They picked it up from me at Wondercon.

Here's is my part of the table.

A lot of kids and their parents came by. These two friends had matching friendship hoodies! I also saw a girl with a Thor/unicorn shirt!

Also, saw a Donna Troy Wondergirl, wandering around!

A husband and wife kept ping ponging back and forth from the Tiki Machine/Muertoons table and mine. I ended up making them two quick baby griffin sketchcards.
Oh boy camera phone!

If anyone who couldn't make it to Wondercon would like a signed "Billie the Unicorn" book, prints, etc, I'll be at a couple of events this month.

I'm going to be doing a marker rendering workshop at Nucleus, April 23rd. Check the site for any materials to bring if you'd like to sketch along!

I'm going to be sharing a table with Thomas Perkins at the Anaheim Wizard World Comic Con. This will be a great opportunity to see alien creatures and unicorns living in peace and prosperity!
