Amethyst of Gemworld

Hey guys!
WB Animation approved me to share this clip with you.
To clear up the confusion over this part of the DC Nation commercial:
She is getting a short.  I am working with a group of fantastic people to put this together.
I animated the clip on short notice, and color help came from Claire Lenth, video composite from Will Feng.
It's been rewarding and a lot of fun to work with such a great team.  Later in 2012 you'll get to see our efforts!
Thanks for all the support over the years.  I never thought I'd get a chance to work on something so magical.
(Oh and the Titans shorts are coming.  Super excited about that.  I've been working quadruple time lately, XD)

Here's an unused animation cycle for you internet!
animated on paper, colored in photoshop.  :)  My obsession with gifs has paid off.

Awesome! I actually recently started tracking down the old comics. Guess I'd better finish my task up before this short comes out :)

Looks great! I suspect that once your short is aired, it will launch a thousand avatars and gifs generated from it.

Gifs indeed! This is amazing!I would definitely love to watch this series, knowing that you are at the helm. Also, I think you have just single-handedly (with this blog post that is....and the trailer!) relieved me of my doubts about being part of the industry and restored my faith in animation.I still want to animate for a life-time, but now even more so!

I tip my hat off to you and your team, Brianne, you are a great artist.

The internet allows me to see people who work on things so precious to me on such a personal level. That being said, I think your work is amazing, and I'm so glad you're working on this project. I am SO EXCITED to see the finished products and for Titans!

Thank you for being wonderful. <3

The source material is so wonderful. Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld is an amazing comic. And I hope we get to see even more stories (tv and comics.) soon.
