my favorite piece there (yeah, I dorked it up and went as well) was that killer Peter Pan cover spread. I was ridiculous.

Coolisimo - Those GB's have some amazing artwork, I wish I would have saved mine way back when - still have my Walt Disney Encyclopedia of Great Myths and Legends though - heh - heh - Minnie Mouse makes a great Pandora - Thanks for sharing the gift of Dumbo - Elephants can fly - I believe...

I love the old golden books, the artwork inspires me so much!
I have some old golden books and some old Disney books at home, it was hard to find them(especially in Germany!), my favourite what I have is Bambi and I have Dumbo too, but in a different art style.
I hope that I find more of these wonderful books!=)
