Poop-Its

Just finished a crazy run storyboarding. I feel like I can see the Matrix now... but back to character design for me in the morning.
Here are some warm up post-its from the last few weeks. It rained alot in California last week. I like rain.

Tooo busy to draw anything new. Looking into trying to print another sketchbook type thing for this summer. Every year I either get too busy, or can't afford it. Looking into doing full color if possible, but hopefully keep it affordable for others, or whoever might want one. Bleh.
I was worried that I might not have enough original stuff to put in the book, but I have some stuff going back all the way to 2005 that I never posted, so it should be ok. I might put a few images in it that have already been on the blog in the past. If there are any specific drawings that anyone would like in the book, please post it in the comments.

So while going through old sketchbooks, I found some horrible unfinished sketches that should never see the light of day. I'm in a weird mood, so here's stuff that belongs at Costco.

Lots of anxiety this week, not necessarily bad. This week is my last week of work. Who knows what will be next, but I have some other stuff I need to finish up anyway, so a small break would be welcome. Anyway, here's some stuff, from towards the end of 2009. I should try to draw guys next time, instead of drawing stupid girls.

Little fuzzy alien doesn't realize that the Space Trooper girl who just saved his life from a giant glob monster does not want to be his friend. You should have seen the epic battle, too bad I didn't draw that.


Yeah, I said no more fanart in 2010, but this was technically drawn in 2009! (some of that stuff drawn in 2009 wasn't actually fanart.)


Here is some freelance stuff. I made my first mouth chart ever for this guy, I did not design him. I also made a crappy dialogue video for overseas reference, this isn't done very well, but this line has had me cracking up all summer. He was in a cartoon Friday night. (I don't think eating babies in real life is cool at all. Cartoon alien poop babies is another matter.)


I'm going to try taking art classes this year. Need all the help I can get.

Attack of the Perfect Princesses!

Congrats to my friends that worked on Frog. I know alot of people cut their teeth on it. Here is a poopy Tiana, and some old poopy fanart. I think princesses have to poop. The fancy rich food from the balls and parties has to go somewhere.





The rest is uploaded out of order because blogger is evil and I don't have the will to fight right now. I don't really care for posting fanart, but in 2010 there should be some original stuff ready.







When I was drawing Jasmine, I had forgotten about a binder full of marker artwork I had in 7th grade. I was an idiot and took it to school and somebody stole it during Home Ec. It wasn't in the trash, couldn't find it, I'm pretty positive it was destroyed since I had a ton of bullies back then. It was full of the first marker art I ever made, and there were alot of Jasmine drawings in it. It's weird what memories come back when I'm drawing certain subjects. Jasmine was easier to draw when I remembered I drew her before.

A Very Super Duper Special Halloween Super Special

OMG! I drew something other than work and book stuff! Drawn on tiny post it, jpg is twice the original size. Actually, probably the only drawing made since August that wasn't for a deadline, book project, or wedding stuff. I need to make a new film so I can draw some new characters, instead of milking one dimensional Tricky and Gorf. OH! "Love Shine" recently got tagged by Sony on youtube. They haven't deleted yet, but they did stick an ad/direct link to iTunes/Amazon for buying the mp3. Which I'm perfectly fine with and encourage. Next couple of cartoons I make will hopefully have original music. In the meantime, the film is also still up on Vimeo.

So.....a couple of good friends are getting married on Halloween! Costumes, candy, cake, videogames, dancing, friends, it's going to be heaven, on Halloween! X3 I made artwork for their invites, but no posting here, because it is special and gothy!
