On another, more whiny note, my computer's CRT monitor is dying, presumably. It made three loud popping noises last night and kept turning itself on and off. There wasn't any smoke, but it sounded like fireworks. Luckily I am borrowing an extra monitor. Is it worth the time and money to get the other one fixed? Or should I just get it properly disposed of?

Wonderful!!!Love the colors!!!I love your art!!!
Really nice, great layout and colors.
I just discovered your stuff, Potato Farm Girl! Your'e amazing! And really entertaining. I love how everthing you do shows a little quirky personality (I assume it's your personality? And not some robot overlord's?) Word.
Another beautiful one. You couldn't suck if you tried, could you? ;)
Ditch that CRT and get a flat screen. Your eyes will thank you.
I love the way the trees work as a border in your illo. Very nice colors too =).
Great colour. Looks like a children's book I'd love to read!
LCD colors arn't as good as CRTs but they make up for it with a crisper image. They are also way better for your eyes. Monitor is definitely not worth repairing. Dispose of it properly (i think it's illegal to throw monitors in the trash)
Nice picture! Good composition and color. Always with that wonderful color pencil texture. Such a cute girl too!
The monkeys came out really well. It'd be nice if you had a picture with just the monkeys.
Lovely picture! Monkeys for a good cause are always good. I'd ditch the monitor and get a juicy LCD as well.
This is beautiful! How wonderful it's for a good cause! :)
beautiful, so many new artworks here. Almost miss out all these cool postings!

Those colors are amazing! I love it.
LCD it shall be it seems. CRT supposedly have better color, but the LCD will be better on the eyes. Thanks for the super nice comments, and Chua, that link is the best thing this week so far!
Beautiful piece Brianna. Love the layers, color scheme, and of course the monkey guys. Good luck at the show. I'll try and stop by if I'm not bogged down in Christmas shopping.
Fant-appl-astic! The winning bidder must be one happy camper...
wowee wow wow wow.
Great piece! Good luck with the show.
Very awesome work as always Miss Brianne!
Nice illustration!
Thats so great that you are donating to the White Elephant show! Beautiful illustration as usual. Sorry we missed you at the housewarming.
SO pretty! You could donate it 100% to me.
Nice color scheme! Go LCDs!
I used to do a lot of electronic repairs. I'd suggest you just dispose of your monitor.
Most things today are just easier and cheaper to throw away when they have a serious problem requiring component (board) level repair.
Minor problems are usually OK to repair but not always.
Your monitor sounds like it would require a lot of new parts to properly repair. Besides all that you also run the risk of it breaking again in the near future from the same cause.
Sometimes the part that breaks isn't the only part responsible for something breaking, the main problem fully develops sometime later.
that's soooo pretty!!! And it's for such a great cause :) I hear good karma knocking!!!
where do you find the time???? beautiful.
I no have babies.
*clears throat* As your offical irritation giver and prodder, since this post has now exceeded 30 comments I demand a new POST IT DRAWING NOW!! :)
Technically, it doesn't count when two of the comments are mine, so it really isn't 30. So Nyah!!!!!! I'm not updating till this weekend, so you go draw something!
