"USA Cartoon Express", anybody remember that block from the 80's-90's? I used to think Pixie had some sort of obsession with Mr. Jinks, since they both wore the same blue bowtie.
My grandma Lilly passed away this weekend. She used to let me draw on big sheets of butcher paper. She just turned 89. Bye grandma.
I'm very sorry about your grandma
ReplyDelete:( I will make you cookies.
I love Pixie and Dixie.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute Southern accents.
A little unsporting even for a cat... Especially since the mice were pretty amiable, if I remember.
ReplyDeleteYour grandma sounds like she was a great person.
Sorry to hear about your loss. 89 is impressive.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the loss of your grandma, but I'm with Jeffrey it sounds like she lived a very full life. She even got to see a talented granddaughter grow up and use her talents to make a living.
ReplyDeleteJust think it all started when you drew on those big sheets of butcher paper ;).
The drawing is awesome, great usage of colors. All of your artwork excels in cuteness and color. Eye candy.
Condolences about your grandma.
ReplyDeleteUsed to thrill to the raucous excitement of The
Car-too-woon Express. Good memries.
Cute mice. Sorry to hear the bad news. Your grandma has my blessings.

ReplyDeleteI thought so, too. Except I thought it was because they never wore pants.
My condolences. My grandfather passed away about a year ago, he made it to 90. Maybe they knew each other...
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother.
ReplyDeleteBut your drawing is spot on and your coloring is great here.
My grandma loves that cartoon as well. She's still with us at the age of 96.
ReplyDeleteI hope your grandma is good friends with St. Peter.
Sorry about your grandma :( An art piece on butcher paper might be in order.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your grandmother.
ReplyDeleteThose mice are too cute to slaughter. I hope this was a cartoon where the mice always win.
